Sanctuary Point is one of many Venture Development sites that we have had the opportunity to complete the landscaping for. Vanessa met with Darren Merrick (Venture Development's project manager) onsite to discuss options for planting to meet all guidelines and establish what their needs were when it came to cost, aesthetic, durability, maintenance and accessibility. Making sure our plant choices and designs would fit their specifications was our main priority when planning and quoting for this project.
Vanessa came up with an overall planting plan with various options for the future homeowners to choose from and presented this to Darren. Upon Darren's acceptance, we began to quote from this design. Flow between the landscaping of the different properties is important and therefore plants were chosen specifically to compliment each other and that of their neighboring gardens.
Roll out turf and hydroseeding were chosen by the project managers for each site dependent on their client's budget. We finished off the gardens with brown bark mulch and timber edging to keep every garden uniform. River stones or drainage metal were used in areas too small for planting or with low chance of grass growth.
